The Challenge presented by this project was to completely renovate the interior, exterior and make structural repairs to the building over the summer break. The existing building was in despirate need of substantial structural repairs. The scope of the renovation included the removal of the existing hay loft, new stall fronts, partitions, automatic waterers, and floors. The existing asphalt center aisles was replaces with concrete. The entire building was rewired and provided with new lighting. The renovation included completely re-doing the building exterior adding sliding dutch windows to each stall, and new cupolas to the roof for added ventilation.
